- Gizzard
- Often also referred to as the Vetriculus. An organ in the digestive tract which has thick muscular walls that are used to grind down food. After swallowing, food goes through the crop and proventriculus before entering the gizzard/ventriculus.
- Gravid
- Carrying eggs or young.
- Gutloading
- The process of raising an animal's prey with the intention of passing those nutrients to the animal. For example, coating crickets in our Multical Dust for added nutritional benefit when a lizard consumes the cricket.
